Neighborhood: Timberline - Summit Park
Date of completion: 2006
Nearly a decade ago, when a prospective client reached out to Scott Denton Homes about building an ecologically friendly home using green construction materials and dimensional lumber, we jumped at the chance. Nestled into the alpine setting of Timberline, this 3,400-square-foot residence consists largely of the insulated concrete known as ICF blocks, which resist wind and fire and will never rot or decay. Thanks to the ICF blocks and other green construction materials, the home has a lofty performance R value, which translates into highly economical heating and cooling costs. We think the home also looks splendid.
